Pat Daniel, who retired in September after a 35-year career with Enbridge and its predecessors, was recently honoured with two awards from two universities — the Canadian Business Leader Award from the University of Alberta School of Business and the Canadian Engineering Leader Award from the University of Calgary. Mr. Daniel attended the U of A for his B.Sc. and the University of British Columbia for his M.Sc., both in chemical engineering. In 2011 he was named Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year, a trademarked recognition program.
