CAE News for the week of 3 December

On a weekly basis, the CAE compiles news of interest to the organization and its members, and makes it publicly available on our website. The CAE works to highlight emerging issues in which engineering has a role as well as promote recognition of engineering excellence and innovation.

Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation Awards now open

The call for applications to the Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation 2019 Awards is now open. The CAE is a supporter of the CEMF and many of our Fellows serve as panel judges.  Do you know a woman who is currently studying in an engineering program or thinking of entering an Engineering program? Tell them not to delay!

CCA Welcomes CAE Fellow to its Scientific Advisory Committee

Thanks to Gilles Patry, CM, FCAE, for agreeing to serve on the CCA’s Scientific Advisory Committee. CCA also welcomes Karen Bakker; Jeffrey A. Hutchings, FRSC; and Chris MacDonald.
