Congratulations to Professor Molly Shoichet FCAE on being awarded the 2017 Killam Prize for Engineering.
Professor Shoichet’s work centers on tissue and polymer engineering, focusing on targeted drug delivery, tissue regeneration and stem cell research. A strong advocate of women in science and technology careers, she holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Tissue Engineering at the University of Toronto, and is Senior Advisor on Science & Engineering Engagement to Meric Gertler, President of the University of Toronto.
